My name is Clair K. and I am a 2018 graduate from St. John the Apostle Catholic School. I attended St. John for 5 years and I really enjoyed it. There are many characteristics that I really love about SJS. First of all, the teachers are awesome. They are all very supportive and care about each and every student. The teachers are always encouraging the students to work hard. SJS has small class sizes, so each individual student gets attention and help if they don’t understand something.
Secondly, St. John is very involved in community service. Even the youngest students participate in bringing food for the food pantry and visiting the nursing home.
Lastly, students are actively involved in their faith. There is Mass each week on Thursday and the First Friday of every month. Students attend adoration and pray the rosary weekly. Upper school students begin each class with prayer and prayer intentions from the students.
St. John the Apostle Catholic School has given me all the proper tools to help me soar in high school and beyond. It has also provided me with an environment where I can discuss and practice my faith openly.
